Craft beer in America is the envy of every other beer-making nation in the world. Its quality, creativity, and craftsmanship are unmatched both domestically and abroad. We believe it’s a shame that big beer still owns a lion’s share of the American palate. So we’re giving craft beer the spotlight and recognition it deserves by uniting with small and independent brewers for American Craft Beer Week in a movement to #MakeSmallBeerBig. This will help provide a single voice for the craft beer industry, as well as a platform to brew The Biggest Small Beer Ever Made—craft beer’s biggest collaboration in history.
100 Craft Brewers across the country agreed to brew from the same recipe to commemorate American Craft Beer Week. Red Rock Brewery is representing Utah in 2016, with a special draft version of what we’re calling a Brown Porter. The beer was brewed with Irish ale yeast and chocolate and crystal malts. It’s dark-brown in color and is low in bitterness. This beer is very smooth and pours with a big and fluffy tan head.
