Floor Manager – Downtown

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

Red Rock Brewery is searching for a committed, proactive Floor Manager who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. We are looking forward to an experienced manager to help create, promote, and grow the business.

In order to succeed as a Floor Manager, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with exceptional problem solving, observation, and interpersonal skills. A positive attitude is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting staff and guests
• Manage the business aspects of the pub, such as taking inventory, reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals
• Positive attitude and passion for making people smile and truly enjoy their experience
• Planning and taking part in promotional events
• Hiring and training staff to provide excellent service to patrons
• Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that the restaurant is well staffed during peak hours
• Working with diverse personalities (both staff and guests)
• Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for our guests

REQUIREMENTS:

• Restaurant experience is a plus, but a hospitality mindset is paramount
• Supervisory experience (preferred)
• Proficient understanding of business management and accounting principles
• Proficient computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Decisiveness
• Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment
