Responsibilities:

• Set up sections and prepare for the shift
• Complete side work to ensure the restaurant is ready for service
• Familiarize yourself with the menu and daily specials
• Greet guests promptly and warmly
• Present menus and assist customers in selecting food and beverages
• Take and serve orders efficiently
• Answer questions and make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with fellow servers and kitchen/bar staff to ensure smooth operations
• Address complaints or issues with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and process payments accurately

Skills:

• A hospitable demeanor is essential; prior restaurant experience is a bonus
• Experience handling cash and processing payments
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards
• Patience and a customer-oriented mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible, trustworthy, and dependable
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of craft beer is a plus, but a willingness to learn is key
• Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems is an advantage
