IN: Red Rocks It

Very nice article/review in Utah’s In This Week (7/7/2011).

It’s actually one of my favorite places to eat, and I enjoy the fact that it’s walking distance from home and also that it’s open later, and earlier, than a lot of other restaurants. It’s also open Sundays, and has a special brunch menu on weekends.

Red Rock Junction wins Best Soup

During the annual Art & Soup event, our very own Chef Andee won the Best Soup award for her Green Curry Banana with Crab soup.

The event is held each March as a fundraiser for Community Nursing Services Home Health & Hospice.

Congratulation Andee!

Blue Sky over Red Rock

Red Rock has received a Certificate of Blue Sky renewable energy support for 2010 from Rocky Mountain Power.

In 2010, Red Rock’s support of 52,800 kilowatt hours of renewable energy avoided the release of 64,328 pounds of carbon dioxide – this is equal to not driving a car 65,406 miles.

Red Rock would like to thank Rocky Mountain Power for this recognition.

Showin’ our Irish

Red Rock once again dressed up our brew truck and took it down the middle of Gateway Plaza for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. The parade is sponsored by the Hibernian Society of Utah.

Thanks to everyone who cheered us along the parade route. And thanks to Ruby Van Bree for the photo.
