Red Rock Junction Quality and Cleanliness

Dear Friends of Red Rock,

Last week an allegation was made against Red Rock’s Park City restaurant via facebook.

We take food safety, quality and cleanliness very seriously at our restaurants.

According to the Summit County Health Department, our Park City location is one of the few restaurants that consistently scores in the 90’s for our health inspections.  One of the ways we accomplish this is by contracting with our own private food safety inspection firm, Respro, to do detailed health inspections on a monthly basis.  We also use Ecolab to inspect for cleanliness and for pest control.

An Ecolab report dated February 1, 2019 indicated no pest activity in our restaurant.  Weekly follow-up inspections spurred by this accusation were ordered immediately.  The Ecolab report dated February 18 and February 25, 2019 also indicated no pest activity.

The Summit County Health Department immediately responded to the allegations and found no significant problems.  The most recent health inspection of the restaurant resulted in a score of “90”.

As you can imagine, the allegations themselves are damaging to our reputation.  The last thing we want is to perpetuate a story that is inaccurate.

We’ve delayed responding as we thought it best to gather as much information as possible to determine what is accurate and what is not.  We’ve learned that the story doesn’t align with the facts.

We are absolutely committed to food quality and safety and always act promptly to correct any problems as they arise.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us directly.  We would love to hear from you.

Very Truly yours,
