The Front Climbing Club’s St. Patty’s Day Pump

Red Rock is excited to have been a part of The Front Climbing Club’s St. Patty’s Day Pump competition.  The Wasatch Front has some of the best climbing in the world, and Red Rock hopes that in supporting climbing we are contributing to the long term effort of preserving our fantastic canyons and deserts.   We are also proud to support the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance again this year for their 3rd Annual Black Diamond Fundraiser coming up on May 30th.

St. Patrick’s Day 2013

Thanks to all of Red Rock’s great employees, friends and family that came out for the St. Patrick’s Day parade this year.   We had a great time!  And the Irish celebration continues with Hibernian ale on tap at our Downtown and Fashion Place locations, and Red Rock shamrock shirts on sale for $10.99 at our downtown location.  Get them while we’ve got them.

Girls On The Run presents Lunafest

Help Red Rock support Girls On The Run by joining us November 2nd for Lunafest, a traveling film festival of award-winning short films by, for and about women.

Girls On The Run is a non-profit organization that works with 3rd-8th grade girls, teaching life skills through “dynamic, conversation-based lessons and running games.“   They meet twice a week for running activities used to inspire and motivate, encourage lifelong health and fitness and build confidence through achieving goals.  At the end of each season these girls complete a 5k run.

Appetizers, beer and hand crafted soda will be served while you browse silent auction items before the films begin.  Tickets are $25.

Go to GirlsOnTheRunSaltLake.org for more information on Lunafest and Girls On The Run.

Bountiful Mazda Cycling Team

Red Rock is proud to support the Bountiful Mazda Cycling Team in their competitive racing efforts and community involvement.

Founded in late 2006, the initial roster consisted of fourteen members from four different Utah teams.  Since then a ladies team has been added, bringing the total ridership to twenty-three.  Their current roster boosts a current and former national champion and two state champions.  They compete in all disciplines of road racing, as well as contribute to the community through cycling focused fundraising, participating in bicycle safety programs, mentoring junior riders and providing volunteer coaching for local high school cycling teams.

Check out the Bountiful Mazda Cycling Club website and join up with a group of passionate cyclists for social rides, training and competitive racing.  www.bmbbc.com
